WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina, June 24 -- The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools issued the following news, dated June 20:

At Piney Grove Elementary, staff members are delighted that Assistant Principal Brendan Elkins will become the new principal after Principal Bob Vorbroker retires at the end of the month.
As Vickie True, the school's Data Manager, put it:
