LEXINGTON, Kentucky, April 24 -- The Nature Conservancy issued the following news, dated April 22:

Lexington, KY, and Nashville, TN - On April 18, The Nature Conservancy (TNC) announced it has arranged the acquisition of 100,000 acres of working forestland in the globally significant Central Appalachian Mountains of southeast Kentucky and northeast Tennessee.
