TALLAHASSEE, Florida, March 25 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Florida issued the following news release:
The Senate Criminal Justice Committee today voted to pass SB 7086, a bill that undermines Amendment 4, the constitutional amendment that restores the eligibility to vote to Floridians with felony convictions after they complete all of the terms of their sentence. The amendment, which excludes those convicted of murder or sexual offenses, received votes from 5.1 million . . .
