Businessman Sentenced to Seven Years in State Prison for Conspiring With Doctor to Supply Highly Addictive Opioid Pain Pills to Drug Ring

TRENTON, New Jersey, Dec. 14 -- New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal issued the following news release:

Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal announced that a man who operated a hearing aid company was sentenced to state prison today for conspiring with a doctor to supply a drug ring with tens of thousands of high-dose pills of the highly addictive opioid painkiller oxycodone.
