PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, Sept. 17 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Rhode Island issued the following news release:
The ACLU of Rhode Island this morning sent a letter to the North Smithfield Town Council urging it to reject a resolution on tonight's agenda calling on the school committee and municipal departments to ban the purchase of Nike products.
