READING, Pennsylvania, Aug. 15 -- Alvernia University issued the following news:
As part of the Alvernia University campus safety plan, the Reading Police Department in conjunction with Reading Fire and EMS, Cumru Township Police, West Reading Police and Alvernia public safety and residence life personnel, will be conducting a SIMULATED active shooter training scenario on Thursday, August 16, at 9:00 a.m. on Alvernia's main campus, Bernarding Hall, in Reading.
