WESTBROOK, Maine, June 22 -- The Maine Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chairman Phil Bartlett on Maine Gov. Paul LePage's signing a bipartisan Medicaid expansion funding that cleared the state legislature:
"Medicaid expansion would extend health care to more than 70,000 people in Maine, inject millions of dollars into our state's economy, and help strengthen our rural hospitals," said Phil Bartlett, Chairman of the Maine Democratic Party.
