WASHINGTON, May 19 -- Rep. Brett Guthrie, R-Kentucky, issued the following speech, which was published in the Congressional Record on May 17, recognizing the retirement of Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster:
Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the retirement of Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster. General McMaster has served in our military honorably for 34 years, and our country is better for it.
