FALLS CHURCH, Virginia, April 19 -- Fairfax County Public Schools issued the following news release:
Cooper Middle students came up with a solution to the problem of plastic waste: selling stainless steel water bottles in their cafeteria. The project was designed to help persuade students to use less plastic while switching to reusable water bottles. Students could choose from five colors and the bottles sport the Cooper logo.
