Herndon ES Eco Club Creates Garden Project

FALLS CHURCH, Virginia, April 19 -- Fairfax County Public Schools issued the following news release:
Members of Herndon Elementary's new Eco Club chose the KidsGardening Carton 2 Garden contest as its first activity. Team members were challenged to use 100+ milk cartons to create a garden project. This past fall, the school held a STEM challenge in which students worked in groups to create models of structures out of paper straws, tape, paper, string, and other common objects.
