LYNCHBURG, Virginia, Dec. 8 -- Appalachian Power issued the following news release:
Lynchburg city public school students will benefit from a new $20,000 American Electric Power Foundation grant from Appalachian Power.
Lynchburg Beacon of Hope, an organization that provides the city's public school students with the tools and resources to attain post-secondary educations, was awarded the grant on Dec. 5.
