WASHINGTON, Dec. 7 -- The National Republican Congressional Committee issued the following statement by Chairman Steve Stivers, R-Ohio, regarding the resignation of Rep. Trent Franks, R-Arizona:
"Congress should be held to the highest ethical standard.
