Allegany County Man Sentenced to 23 Years in Prison for Production of Child Pornography

BALTIMORE, Sept. 12 -- The Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, Stephen M. Schenning, issued the following news release:

On September 11, 2017, U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett sentenced Jason Wayne Hines, age 37, of Cumberland, Maryland, to 23 years in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release, for the production of child pornography. Judge Bennett ordered Hines to pay restitution of $10,400, as well as special assessments totaling $5,100.
