Rep. Young Kim Bipartisan Bill to Boost Geothermal Energy Passes House

WASHINGTON, Nov. 14 -- Rep. Young Kim, R-California, issued the following news release:

Today, the House passed the Harnessing Energy At Thermal Sources (HEATS) Act (H.R. 7409), a bipartisan bill led by U.S. Representative Young Kim (CA-40) to streamline geothermal energy development and production and lower energy costs.

Geothermal energy is a clean energy source that can be used to generate electricity, heat homes, and power industrial processes.
