RICHMOND, Virginia, Sept. 26 -- The Virginia Department of Education issued the following news release:
The Virginia Department of Education has been awarded a $30 million Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) grant by the U.S. Department of Education to extend and expand literacy efforts for schools and student groups identified with the most need.
