WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia issued the following news release:
Darius Anderson, 23, of Washington, DC, has been found guilty by a jury today, of first-degree murder while armed for 2022 killing of 30-year-old Israel Mattocks, in in the 3900 block of Minnesota Ave, NE., announced U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves and Chief Pamela Smith, of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
