ANCHORAGE, Alaska, July 11 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Alaska issued the following news release on July 10, 2024:
An Alaska man was sentenced yesterday to two and half years in prison for embezzling more than $1 million from the City of Houston, Alaska, and from a Wasilla-based equipment company, and then evading taxes on the embezzled profits.
