WASHINGTON, June 27 -- Sen. Peter Welch, D-Vermont, issued the following news release:

MONTPELIER, VT - Today, Vermont Governor Phil Scott, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Senator Peter Welch (D-Vt.), and Congresswoman Becca Balint (VT-At Large), along with the Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC), announced the recipients of the NBRC's 2024 Catalyst Awards. Eight projects in seven towns spread across six counties will share $7.9 million in funding.
