WASHINGTON, March 2 -- Sen. Mike Rounds, R-South Dakota, issued the following news release on March 1, 2024:

Senators Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), a member of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, and John Thune (R-S.D.) today requested information from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) on tribal law enforcement funding and its correlation, if any, with surges in crime on reservations.
