HARTFORD, Connecticut, Oct. 20 -- Gov. Ned Lamont, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release on Oct. 19, 2023:
Governor Ned Lamont, Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, and Connecticut Public Health Commissioner Manisha Juthani, MD, are encouraging women across Connecticut to schedule an appointment for a breast cancer screening, noting that early detection of breast cancer is when it is most treatable.
The month of October is recognized nationally as Breast Cancer Awar . . .
