HARTFORD, Connecticut, Aug. 31 -- Gov. Ned Lamont, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release on Aug. 30, 2023:
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that a new state law he signed making it easier for firefighters who develop cancer to receive workers' compensation benefits will go into effect on October 1, 2023.
