EMMETT, Idaho, Oct. 24 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation issued the following news release:
The Bureau of Reclamation is lowering the reservoir behind Black Canyon Diversion Dam to allow crews to safely perform routine maintenance activities in December 2022. The drawdown began in early October and will continue until Nov. 13 when the water surface elevation reaches 2,465 feet--32.5 feet below normal full pool elevation.
