WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- The Joint Economic Committee issued the following testimony by Chethan Sathya, director of the Center for Gun Violence Prevention at Northwell Health, involving a hearing on July 20, 2022, entitled "The Economic Toll of Gun Violence."
Sathya is also an assistant professor of pediatrics and surgery and a firearm injury prevention researcher.
