CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 14 -- The Acting U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, Michelle M. Baeppler, issued the following news release:
Acting U.S. Attorney Michelle M. Baeppler announced that a federal grand jury returned a six-count indictment charging Ankita Singh, 39, formerly of Maumee, Ohio, with fraudulently billing Medicare $8.4 million.
According to the indictment, the defendant was a state-licensed physician practicing in Maumee and Toledo. From June 2 . . .
