HONOLULU, Hawaii, Jan. 25 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service Pacific Islands Area office issued the following news release on Jan. 24, 2022:

USDA is announcing more than $48 million of investments by the Forest Service and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) this year through the Joint Chiefs' Landscape Restoration Partnership for projects that will mitigate wildfire risk, protect water quality, improve wildlife habitat, restore . . .
