ST. LOUIS, Missouri, Sept. 18 -- Rep. Ann Wagner, R-Missouri, issued the following news release on Sept. 17, 2021:
Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), Chair of the House Suburban Caucus, and Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO) announced their bicameral Ulysses S. Grant Bicentennial Recognition Act. The legislation requests President Biden to posthumously promote Grant to General of the Armies of the United States, the highest rank in the US Army.
