WASHINGTON, June 12 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release on June 10, 2021:
The U.S. Department of Labor reported that inflation in the month of May rose five percent, the highest amount since the summer of 2008. Additionally, CNBC reported that, "a separate gauge that excludes volatile food and energy prices increased 3.8%...That was the fastest pace since May 1992."
