WASHINGTON, May 8 -- The White House issued the following news release:

President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. declared that a major disaster exists in the State of Tennessee and ordered Federal assistance to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding from March 25 to April 3, 2021.

The President's action makes Federal funding available to affected individuals in the counties of Davidson, Williamson, and Wilson.
