NEW YORK, July 29 -- The National Black Justice Coalition issued the following statement by Executive Director David J. Johns in response to the murder of Brian Egypt Powers, a Black transgender man in Akron, Ohio and Kemar Soloman, a transgender woman in the Bronx, New York whose race has not yet been reported:
