WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Arizona, issued the following statement after the House passed the Mac Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 6395):
"I support our military, but I do not support efforts to politicize our military. Unfortunately, for the second year in a row, Speaker Pelosi and her Democrat colleagues have politicized a fairly bipartisan defense spending package - one that I have voted for every year of my tenure in Congress.
