WASHINGTON, July 21 -- The National Community Reinvestment Coalition, an organization that works to uphold fair housing, fair lending and consumer protection laws, issued the following statement by CEO Jesse Van Tol:
Civil rights icon and long-time Congressman from Georgia, Rep. John Lewis, lost his battle against pancreatic cancer on July 17.
