DETROIT, Michigan, July 20 -- The United Automobile Workers issued the following statement on July 18 by President Rory Gamble on the death of Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia:
"The world John Lewis leaves behind is a very different world than the one he entered, in large measure because of his courage, tenacity and belief in the human spirit.
