ALBANY, New York, July 8 -- The Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities issued the following statement by President Mary Beth Labate on changes to the Student and Exchange Visitor Program:
This week, ICE announced that international students on F-1 and M-1 visas who attend colleges that are fully remote in the fall will have to either transfer to a college with an in-person component or be deported. Essentially, online-only is not an option for international students.
