JACKMAN, Maine, July 6 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release on July 4:
U.S. Senator Susan Collins participated in the Jackman-Moose River 4th of July celebration, which included a parade and a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new flag poles that are being installed in honor of local veterans.
"It was wonderful to see so many Mainers at the Jackman-Moose River 4th of July parade this year, as we celebrated not only America's 244th birt . . .
