ST. LOUIS, Missouri, July 2 -- The Washington University St. Louis School of Medicine issued the following news release:
Postdoctoral researcher Pallavi Chandra, PhD, looks at plates containing cells infected with the COVID-19 virus in a biosafety level 3 laboratory as postdoctoral researcher Ekansh Mittal, PhD, looks on. Chandra and Mittal are screening chemical compounds for their ability to inactivate the COVID-19 virus as part of an effort to find potential antiviral drugs.
