WASHINGTON, June 30 -- Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Arizona, issued the following statement:
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in the case of JUNE MEDICAL SERVICES L. L. C. ET AL. v. RUSSO to overturn a Louisiana abortion law designed to protect mothers from doctors who did not have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals. Congressman Biggs, who had previously signed an amicus brief in support of the law, released the following statement.
