NEW YORK, June 25 -- The National Center for Law and Economic Justice issued the following news on June 23:
Yesterday, NCLEJ sent a letter to Georgia state legislators strongly opposing proposed cuts to the Georgia Department of Human Services. If enacted, the budget cuts will cause serious harm to Georgians who are already struggling to survive a pandemic and a historic economic downturn.
DHS is responsible for administering Georgia's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance . . .
