ACLU and MediaJustice File New FOIA Request Demanding FBI Documents on Surveillance of Black Activists

NEW YORK, June 18 -- The American Civil Liberties Union, a 501(c)3 non-profit that works to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the U.S., issued the following news release on June 17:

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and MediaJustice filed a new FOIA request to expose how the government is continuing to surreptitiously track Black leaders. In addition to the FOIA request, more than 100 civil rights organizations . . .
