NEW YORK, June 16 -- The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network issued the following statement on June 15 by Executive Director Eliza Byard in response to a landmark ruling affirming the rights of LGBTQ employees:
The U.S. Supreme Court confirmed that LGBTQ Americans are protected from workplace discrimination under federal law.
