WASHINGTON, June 4 -- The Center for Biological Diversity issued the following news release:
A federal court late Monday shut down the Interior Department's second attempt at an illegal land exchange with the King Cove Corporation to put a road through vital protected wetlands in Izembek National Wildlife Refuge.
"For the second time, the court has told the road proponents that invading the Izembek Wilderness and damaging the biological heart of the Refuge to build . . .
