"Again and again, we find ourselves confronting tragedies that lay bare the racism and injustice facing our fellow black Americans. In following the recent news, we are deeply saddened and outraged by the deaths of George Floyd in Minneapolis and Breonna Taylor in Louisville, as well as the racial intimidation of Christian Cooper in New York City.
