NEW YORK, May 9 -- The Vera Institute of Justice issued the following news release:
Vera is among the organizations that qualified for the Paycheck Protection Program as part of the Coronavirus Relief Response Act to protect existing jobs. These funds will be used to help cover Vera's operating expenses -- including rent, payroll, and utilities -- allowing us to remain focused on key initiatives promoting safety and justice in more than forty states nationwide.
