ALBANY, New York, May 6 -- The New York State United Teachers issued the following statement by President Andy Pallotta regarding the governor's comments about reimagining education:
"NYSUT believes in the education of the whole child. Remote learning, in any form, will never replace the important personal connection between teachers and their students that is built in the classroom and is a critical part of the teaching and learning process -- which is why we've seen educators . . .
