ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, May 2 -- Gov. Larry Hogan, R-Maryland, issued the following news release:
Governor Larry Hogan announced that he has appointed Kathleen A. Birrane as Maryland Insurance Commissioner. She replaces former Baltimore County delegate Al Redmer, who has been appointed as the executive director of the Maryland Auto Insurance Fund.
