WASHINGTON, April 29 -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Massachusetts, issued the following news release:
United States Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Angus King (I-Maine) sent a letter to Senate appropriators urging them to include robust funding in the fiscal year 2021 appropriations bill for programs within the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to strengthen global health security, particularly with respect to emerging zoonotic epidemic threats.
