ALBANY, New York, April 28 -- Downstate Medical Center issued the following news release:
State University of New York Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson announced that 227 medical school students are graduating early as a result of Governor Andrew Cuomo's executive order this month to provide relief to doctors fighting the coronavirus. Eligible students were those already scheduled to graduate after the spring semester who met New York State's rigorous academic requirements.
