NEW YORK, April 11 -- The Natural Resources Defense Council issued the following news release:
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled that the Trump administration's Environmental Protection Agency acted illegally in suspending the agency's limits on the uses of super climate-polluting hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). The court restored a prohibition on switching from ozone depleting substances to HFCs in uses such as large refrigeration systems in supermarkets.
