WASHINGTON, April 10 -- Sen. Tina Flint Smith, D-Minnesota, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Tina Smith (D-Minn.)--a member of the Senate Health Committee--says that measures from her bipartisan bill to prevent drug shortages were enacted into law as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).
