GLEN JEAN, West Virginia, April 1 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's New River Gorge National River issued the following news release:
Park Superintendent Lizzie Watts announced that the National Park Service (NPS) will be temporarily closing campgrounds and restrooms in all areas of New River Gorge National River, Gauley River National Recreation Area, and Bluestone National Scenic River in response to COVID-19. Closures will begin at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, March 31. Hiking trail . . .
