McAfee & Taft: Employers Brace for Paid Leave Brought on by Coronavirus

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, March 18 -- McAfee and Taft, a law firm, issued the following news:

On March 14, 2020, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill that would provide paid leave for workers affected by the coronavirus and that would expand FMLA. Two days later, the House passed a technical amendment to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act that reduced certain available benefits. Experts are predicting that the U.S. Senate will scale back the benefits even further . . .
